How to Install edb software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

edb software package provides database program for GNU Emacs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install edb

edb is installed in your system.

Make ensure the edb package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep edb *

You will get with edb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
